Clos de Lôm is a family run winery founded by S. Dupuy De Lôme in 1836. The beauty of wine lies in the fact that its heritage and tradition can be kept alive without compromising modernity. Clos de Lôm wines aim to express the quality and geographic uniqueness of our facilities in Valley dels Alforins.
The wines, are made exclusively with grapes from DO Valencia. This area is mainly renowned for its indigenous varieties grapes; Monastrell, Garnacha and Malvasia and this estate also cultivates the Spanish flagship grape Tempranillo. The prime location provides great growing conditions for the vines with mainly clay and limestone soils. The climate is characterised by mild winters, hot summer days, cold nights and a fresh sea breeze; the Mediterranean Sea is only 55 kms far away. Most of the low bush trained, non-irrigated vineyards are harvested purely by hand.
