Armagnac Rabastas
The Domaine
The story begins when César Kuberek, co-founder and former CEO of a French tech company decided to change paths and moved to the family house in Armagnac. He approached his brother in law Gianni, Sommelier and owner of the famous Los Angeles restaurant Madeo, about getting into the business.
They identified a need for high quality spirits for restaurants and bars that were authentic, small batch and affordable.
In 2017 they created the brand Cyrano and launched in California. In 2018 they launched Rabastas in Europe.
The brand is inspired by one of the regions most famous legends - D'Artagnan the Musketeer and his fellow adventurer Rabastas the horse!
Rabastas is a modern twist on the traditional style Armagnac and not only is it a great sipping spirit, it is perfect for cocktails. The Blanch can replace any white spirit such a Gin or Vodka and the 6 Year Old is a great substitute for Cognac or Whisky.
Rabastas is a true craft spirit and the last spirit left to be discovered so get involved and get these Armagnacs in front of your spirited musketeer customers!

Today, Colette and Guy, using their knowledge and traditions passed down through generations, are producing a selection of fine wines and Armagnacs. Laguille Estate offers a good selection of « Bas-Armagnacs » which is improving year after year with the distillation of a new vintage.
From production to vinification, from distillation to the ageing process of the Armagnac, and bottling and distribution ; every stage of the process is carried out on the Estate in order to guarantee our products’ authenticity and quality.
Working with attention for the environment whilst implementing improved working conditions, Laguille domain has invested in a high and modern performing production process.
Looking to the future, photovoltaic panels have been mounted onto our wooden buildings so now today, the estate produces more energy than it consumes.

The Domaine
This is not Cognac as you know it, this is hand-made, small batch, artisanal and utterly delicious!
The grapes, 100% Ugni Blanc, all come from the 7ha estate in the Grand Champagne 1er Cru area and unlike all the big boys nothing is automated. They use 2 small, traditional copper pot stills of 18 and 25 hl to distil the wine on it's fine lees and the cut is done by hand to ensure the best selection.
They are not cheap Cognacs but the quality is outstanding and will give customers a much better experience than any of the big brands.

The Domaine
Armagnac Goudoulin was founded in 1935 by Madame Jeanne Ménal Goudoulin, who was born in 1887 in Mouchan in the département of the Gers. Through marriage, Jeanne Goudoulin came into ownership of the Domaine de Bigor in Courrensan in 1908. Following the death of her husband, Joseph Goudoulin in 1925 due to injuries suffered during the First World War, she ran the Domaine de Bigor estate in Courrensan, Bas Armagnac, on her own.
In 1935, she began to sell Armagnac from the large stock both she and previous generations had built up. Christian Faure took over the management of the estate in 1964, having spent several years working alongside his grandmother, who passed on all her expertise and knowledge of the Armagnac business.
Christian Faure retired in 2009, after having successfully expanded the business and raised the brand’s profile. Michel Miclo, owner of the Alsace-based family-owned G. Miclo Distillery bought Armagnacs J. Goudoulin. His new team’s aim is to develop the brand’s geographical reach and reputation, whilst safeguarding the traditional character and the universally acknowledged quality of our Armagnacs..
