Our range is an eclectic mix of classics, funky natural things, big names and tiny producers, fine wines and bottles for everyday. We have great cheeses, pasta, delicious salami and saucisson, and stacks of amazing chocolates. Sheldon’s made its name supplying wines and spirits to most parts of the British Empire and today we supply customers, educational and ecclesiastical establishments the length and breadth of the country. We also boast fantastic original cellars measuring 12,500sq ft and these are the venue for many of our dinners and tastings as well as regular tours. The Secret Wine Celler
We are an independent, quality focused wine merchant with shops in Tunbridge Wells, Oxted and Wadhurst. Whilst we are predominantly retail focused with lots of customer interaction and tasting events, our wholesale business grows steadily. We operate two websites – The Secret Cellar and our corporate gift business, Wooden Wine Box Company. Aside from sourcing and selling some seriously great wines, and making sure we look after customers incredibly well, we try not to take ourselves too seriously.
The Sampler is a leading independent wine merchant with two shops in central London and a restaurant wholesale arm. We pioneered the use of Enomatic sampling machines in retail shops, believing that customers should be able to try wines before deciding what to buy rather than relying on brand or discount or promotion to guide their buying. We stock over 1,500 different wines and have particular strengths in grower champagne and mature vintages back to the 19th century.
The Stroud Wine Company
Taurus Wines is an award-winning, independent wine merchant and importer in the Surrey Hills. Opened in 2001 by Rupert Pritchett, who initially started it as a mail-order business in an old cow shed (hence the name), Taurus has been keeping the good people of Surrey and Sussex in expertly sourced fine and party wines since then. The current shop now occupies a renovated 400-year-old barn just outside Guildford and Rupert will be opening a second Surrey-based store in 2018. Taurus is a hotbed of WSET qualifications, with almost all staff either WSET Diploma qualified or studying for it – plus Rupert likes to keep an MW on the books just so he can say that Taurus has a more qualified buying team than most supermarkets!
Vagabond is a multiple award-winning wine shop and ‘enoteca’. We have 100 wines available to try by the glass or sample, most from lesser known grapes, regions or producers. Customers can enjoy our wines with tasty cheese and charcuterie boards while sitting back on our comfy leather sofas, or partake in non-stuffy tutored tastings. We also have a rapidly expanding wholesale operation for businesses that care about the wines they buy.
Le Vignoble is an independent wine merchant, wine lounge and wine education business with outlets in Plymouth, Bath & Bristol. Wine is their passion and they offer over 350 different wines by the bottle to drink in or take home, with up to 64 wines also available to taste from their Enomatic wine serving systems.
The Vineking was founded in 2003. From the humble beginnings of a kitchen table, we now have three Surrey based shops, a warehouse and of course a website. We are always hosting tastings and we are currently running a series of “Pop Up Restaurant’s” within our shops, please check our website for more details. Our motto has always been “great wines, no nonsense” and so far, it’s not let us down!

Woburn Wine Cellar
Woburn Wine Cellar are a local, family-run, independent wine retailer, with over a decade of industry experience. Situated in the heart of Woburn village, they are passionate about good quality hand-crafted wines, from family-owned wineries that represent good value for money.
WoodWinters emerged from our desire to share the outstanding and diverse wines that we had experienced on our travels. We wanted to connect with like-minded wine drinkers and let them taste and buy the wines that we had come to adore. Our first shop opened in Bridge of Allan, near Stirling in Scotland in 2005. From day one the mission was to help our customers drink better wine. Our enjoyment of wine is rooted in its quality, whatever the price point and we are excited by flavour, by provenance, by the myriad of natural elements and human decisions that combine to make truly exceptional wines.
